The following information is provided in compliance with the reporting requirements for school district contracts, SB 783 (P.A. 95-707), the FY2008 Budget Implementation Act (“Act”), Illinois School Code (105 ILCS 5/10-20.40).

Contract Awards

Contracts are awarded by the Board of Education at monthly Board meetings. The Board maintains a web site of all Board actions, including contract awards. A specific board action is documented in a "Board Report." Contract awards are Board Reports with a "PR" designation. Please refer to the board report for awardee name, amount of contract, contract description, project address, M/WBE subcontractor information by percentage, and method of obtaining the contract (bid, RFP, RFQ). Board reports are available in PDF format only.

Suppliers who have done business with CPS

In compliance with City Ordinance number 2-156-475, reports - one per fiscal year - show suppliers who have done business with the Chicago Public Schools. Please note that suppliers are not required to have contracts with CPS for goods under $10,000 per school or unit per fiscal year or professional services under $25,000 per school or unit per fiscal year. The report for the current fiscal year is updated every day. The CPS fiscal year runs from July through June.
